This demo case comes to us from fake listener Karen, complaining as usual, this time about her neighbor Chad’s oak tree.  Chad’s mature oak tree is on the border of their property and has an ominous tree branch extending over Karen’s driveway and hanging like the sword of Damocles.  Karen is concerned about the branch falling on her driveway where she parks her BMW, and where her children play with their toys.   Chad’s tree is regularly shedding debris and acorns, and could pose a real danger if it falls at the wrong time.  Karen, in pure self-righteous Karen-fashion, demands that Chad trim his tree; Chad scoffs and refuses, citing a healthy tree and property rights.  Listen to the episode where we run through an analysis of the situation, looking to our six lenses (legal, historical, literary, philosophical, religious, social norms – and sometimes science as a seventh) for guidance.  Come back and vote on who you think should be the Moral Victor.
