Greetings, in today’s episode we examine a surgery gone wrong and the surgeon’s lackluster defense that “you only need one kidney.” This is our second demo case, but is taken from a real life law suit. A patient goes in to have a benign cyst removed, but instead of removing only the cyst, the surgeon removes the entire kidney, which was otherwise healthy. As always, we examine the law, historical backgrounds, literary references, philosophical principles, religious perspectives, and social norms to arrive at our conclusion of who is the moral victor. Have a listen and come back to the site to vote on who you think should be the winner, doctor or patient. Like and follow us on The Facebook (yes, we prefer the original name) and Twitter (yes, we also prefer that original name as well, otherwise we feel like we’re referring you to some sleezy X-rated site), and listen to us on iTunes and Spotify. YouTube channel coming soon. Justice may be subjective, but the burn is absolute!
